Upon registration, you will be given instructions on taking your multiple choice skills exam. If you choose an online exam, you may take your exam anytime within 90 days of registration. Once you have passed your skills exam, your certificate will be delivered to you within 24 hours.

Choose your preferred certification level:

	Professional ESL Certification - $149 Certifies proficiency to teach in a formal business setting. Generally accepted by international companies seeking to educate a foreign workforce. Avg. exam time: 30-45 minutes
	Instructor ESL Certification - $99 Minimum suggested level for teaching ESL to all age groups. Recommended for those who are new to teaching English as a second language abroad. Avg. exam time: 30 minutes
	Basic ESL Certification - $79 Suitable for teaching ESL to K-12 age groups. Ideal for tutors, public and private language instructors and those with no prior teaching experience. Avg. exam time: 30 minutes

(*With your registration fee, you are allowed unlimited online exam retakes within a 60 day period. You must wait 24 hours between each exam retake. Exams are scored on a pass/fail basis with a score of 70% or better required to pass.)

The Language Certification Institute issues certifications based on the passing of a propietary online examination. Exams are scored on a pass/fail basis with a score of 70% or better required to pass. Unlimited on-line exam retakes are available within a 60 day period at no additional cost. Our unlimited retake policy applies only to exams conducted on-line. Exams performed at any of our testing facilities are not eligible for this offer. Registration fees are non-refundable, except as follows: Refunds will only be granted if a written request by e-mail is made within 48 hours of registration and only if the registrant has not yet viewed the exam. Refund requests should be sent to to support(at)eslcertifications.com. No refunds are available after 48 hour from time of registration, after the registrant has viewed the exam, or after the registrant has completed the exam -- regardless of a pass or fail result. Once a registrant has earned official LCI Certification, LCI reserves the right to revoke said certification if the registrant has proven to have been involved in any illegal activities surrounding the examination, invalid use of the certification, or misrepresentation of the certification the registrant has been granted. Privacy Unless the registrant requests otherwise, LCI will not release registrant names or contact information to third parties. However, LCI will respond to employer and academic verification requests provided the requesting entity include the following information: * Registrant's full name * Registrant's city of residence at the time of certification * Registrant's state of residence at the time of certification The Language Certification Institute makes no represenation or warranty as to an LCI certification's applicability or fitness for a particular purpose or qualification. LCI makes no claims that certification will guarantee employment, enrollment in an academic institution, or satisify any other specific requirements. LCI certifications demonstrate completion of our online proficiency exam and are not evidence of completion of an academic or professional course of instruction.
